Putting Half Banner Text Ads Under a Title

    Hi,

I run a small website. I have a small section in the middle of the page where I display the Hosting Providers and Product Reviews. Something like this:

    Hosting Providers Product Reviews
[My Custom Link] [My Custom Link]
descrption of the link description of the link

[Half Banner Google Ads] [Half Banner Google Ad]

Is the above implementation correct and is it okay?

    Thanks,
    Faiza

Seems okay but we can't give a definitive answer until we actually see your implementation. Can you post us a screenshot?

Well, yes. It seems okay but I don't see any AdSense ad units which is kind of the whole point of this forum. As long as you don't label your AdSense with 'click here and make me dollars' you should be okay.

The only problem is if the Google ads look exactly like the text blocks above them.

    Hi MTBiker,

    >> The only problem is if the Google ads look exactly like the >>text blocks above them.

Why would that be a problem? Shouldnt that be considered blending?

Yes it's considered blending, which Google is cracking down on as per their new terms. Their terms keep getting more strict.

Somewhere they have examples of what not to do, and your placement may be considered tricking the user into clicking, thinking they're navigating your site.

Take a look at the ad below:

The google ads says "google ads" at the bottom. I just thought it would be considered good blending!

PLS: Thanks for all the help.

I was just looking around for a good page from Google that mentioned the newest terms as far as images, deception, etc. but I couldn't find exactly what I remembered.

But I do have a feeling if you emailed Google and asked about that exact placement, they wouldn't like it.

    Thanks for the help!.

Actually I have just emailed google about this. Although I did not point out to look at these ads. I just said that if the website complies with the policies.

I may have to send another email to google telling them to specially look at this section of the ads where I blended.
