Question about Adsense after Posts...From a NOOB :p

Ok, I have been lurking for quite awhile...trying to take it all in. I have 4 blogs going. Three of them are "specialized" sort of and One is a basic "Internet Marketing" Blog.

Anyway, I know that we can only have 3 ad units per page...right? As for that, I see that people say something about posting an ad unit in their Blog Post. I use Blogger and so far my posts are all on the Front Page. Wouldn't this make there be Way Too Many Ad Units per page if I used one in each post?

Am I doing this wrong or what :)

    Thanks for any help.

Why not just put the ads in your template and not in specific posts?

Putting them in each post is going to accomplish exactly what you say, unless you limit how many posts display per page, or never have more than 3 entries.

That being said, ads beyond the allotment do not show up so I am not sure it makes a difference anyways.

That is exactly what I was thinking. I put all of mine in the Template and not on the posts, because I was afraid they would show up and then cause me a problem with the TOS.

    Thanks for the help :)

Putting them in the posts is not against TOS right? It's just having more than 3 ad units per page that you're worried about?

Yes, that is right. I have seen Many, Many Blogs with them in the Post, but they only have 1 or 2 posts show up on each page. I am using a Free Blogger, so all of my posts show up on Page 1 until I get to so many posts (an I think it still shows 8 or 10 on a page), so this would have WAY Too Many Ad Units per page.

I've always heard that it's better for the ads that display in the G-units ;);) to have only 2 or 3 posts per page displayed. When I had a blog I put a medium rectangle at the end of the entry and displayed 2 entries per page. My third unit was a small banner under the heading which seemed like a subtitle position, but was obviously the ads.
