Question about adsense placement

    I placed adsense on front page, and if you click blogs link there also.

    A couple questions:
    1) Does that degrade from site? Like does it make site look cheap, by putting ads on a site that sells products?

    2) Is the blogs adsense acceptable placement?

    3) Should I place anywhere else? Or anything less?

    1 no it doesnt degrade from what i see...
    2 I dont think its a good placement, because with my screen fully open on IE I dont even see it, i would have to scroll down to see it and there is no point of me to scroll down since there is no content...so most people wont see it.
    3 place it higher, just my .02
