Question about Content for SEO

Say I am building an info type of site.

Would it be ok to add 100 pages of content in a short period
of time say 10 days or should I just add this over a period of
100 days just to have something to put on there daily?

 

any seo guru's that can answer this?

i personally add to a new site about 10 - 15 articles prior to launching it..

then i add articles once a week..

reason why i do this is that in the beggining traffic is very low (specially if you don't market it much) and i find putting into too much effort in a site that has next to no traffic useless. i let google start indexing me and gradually increase content and traffic begins to arrive...

it's probably a good idea to work on 2 - 3 sites at the same time so you wont obsess yourself with one site..

anyhow i'm sure loads of people build up their site million different ways.

 

Well yeah thats what I wanted to add 10 to 15 articles at the time and get it going because I do have many projects going on but I wanted to make sure I put some content and started building some links aswell.

 

This may be a dumb question aswell, im pretty new to blogging and want to add a button where people can join an email feed or whatever you call it, so that when I post new stuff they will get an email. How would I go about doing this?
