i was wondering... if i dugg a post of mine, and it remained with just 1 dig for a few weeks, and then, suppose it became popular and many people dug it, does it have a chance to make it to the front page?

    thanks

No, after 24 hours it loses a chance to become popular

It's going to be very rare that that situation would happen; if it did then it would be likely that suddenly the story you posted gained more national attention. Even in that case, someone else would post a newer and more relevant version of the story and that would be the one to end up on the front page.

As I understand it right after you Digg a post you are near the top. You start falling off the first page within an hour because of all the people using Digg. After a while, usually a day or two you'll start falling even more. Say you're on page 2, you'll fall to page 5, then 12 & so on.

It is best to start getting fellow members of Digg as your friends there, so if they like your submissions they can Digg it as well.

You need to have 24 hours continues diggs so that it will continue to rise in front page of digg.

If you have a pretty big following at digg, i think you could get enough support to digg it to the top. It's funny how their algorithm works, coz it looks more like a "SORT BY date DESC, digg count DESC" kind of order

its depends on your network, how much contact in your digg account how they engaged on digg.. and other all thing..depend on Digg criteria
