    I posted a link and short description. When I look under my news tab I see my link.

    But next to the "Dugg" count there is a Green Circle with a 1 inside.

    What does that mean?

    I believe that number shows that 1 member of your network is also dugg the story.

    Honey, that is the count of the number of diggs you have received on your posted article. As you have posted from your digg ID, it has been marked as 1 digg. If you have a good friend network on digg, as your friends to check your article and digg it. The figure will rise, eventually as your friends digg your story/article.
