Question about Facebook Likes

When we LIKE a fan page, automatically, the accounts updates goes straight to our new feeds. My question is, if ever you like a certain fan page, do you really pay attention to the updates that appears on your news feeds? Seriously?

Ya why not? But remember not for all pages. If I found the news feed seems interesting and informative then I pay attention and visit there. So. you must be regular and be specific, interesting, informative and sometimes a little bit funny too.

For sure, if it is of my interest I do take interest to explore them more.

If it's interesting, then yes. If you make a habit of making your updates spammy, people will either tune them out or unlike you.

I think you are asking to know weather the posts of your page can drive the attention of the fans of page.
Yes They Can... but it depends on how you are posting, what you are posting and what type of people are your fans. For Example, you can take the example of Justin Bieber Page. His Page is liked by the people who are interested in music and like the music of Justin Bieber so they pay attention to whatever Justin Bieber is up to. So the requirements are there should be a good will of your product or service, your posts should be interesting enough for the users and your fans should be certain people who are interested in the similar product or service.

 

Even though this adds a small attention for fans of your site this can still adds additional traffic for you site plus it's free.

What is better to have the "likes" clicked on my website or on my fan page on facebook?

 

If your fan page *is* your website, it doesn't matter, they both increase the same counter.

 

it depends upon target audience. I dont like boating but if one of my friend suggests me a Facebook boating page, may be i LIKE that but later, as i get updates, i will ignore them at all and may be later, i UNLIKE that page. So if your page fans are targeted fans & audiences, they will must follow new updates.

I will definitely pay attention to the updates that the pages I liked. The very reason I liked the page is to receive updates about the page.

Exactly.. That is actually one of main purposes of the "Like Button", to know how many people were convinced and attracted with your page.

 

Well, till the time I had my company account operated, I was making sure of all the activity which is displayed on y profile page wall. Even if I like a certain page which is not related to my niche, I would remove the feed from my wall, soon after it is displayed. I would even remove the feed of being a friend with someone on facebook, that is because it affects the company you are working for

 

If your fan page is a good niche yes it will draw pepole to it,that is because it affect the company you are working for.
