Basically I want to start a forum and it has to have many features

the forum must enable me to do the following easily

allow members to pay for subscription
    allow advertisements
allow me to sell products on the forum
allow me to upload products to sell
allow me to change banners and so on easy
give me a main blog then a link taking me to the forum like this http://www.fusedjaw.com/

it must be easy to do and setup and manage as i don't know any code or anything

i was recommended this application http://www.invisionpower.com/

    what do u guys think

    Thank you

I would recommend Xenforo over IPB. You can do everything you want you have listed. You will need some mods to do so but I think the ones you are after are free which helps alot.

I would also recommend Xenforo over IPB. The main reason is xF is light weight, easy to configure, many mods are free. I have used both but I personally think IPB is for more advanced users

    What about vBulletin version 4?
I am interested in buying a 2nd hand license if anyone here is selling theirs.
    Let me know!

I also endorse the vBulletin forum platform as it more robust compare to the rest of it peer.

My advise is don't go for second hand license as it will have many side issue.
