    unless it's explicitly stated that you can, you can't. only exception to this would be public domain material.

    even sometimes when they claim to give you resell rights things may be sketchy as far as legal issues go, especially with clickbank-esque stuff.

    You can mostly find that on the 1st or 2nd page of each resale righted e-book..If its not stated, you don't have that right.

    if u have copyrights pages in book there it will be writen, but mulitly reselling stages will mix up we cant find out

    1 more thing..if you have bought an e-book, I am more than sure they must have clearly mentioned that you will get the resale rights for those books. If they haven't, they sure don't give you that right..

    Even publicly stating they have resell rights, you don't really have any way of knowing for sure. The seller could be just telling you he has them.

    Even after all that you have to be aware that there are different types of "Resell Rights".

    Some allow you to sell the product at any price you want, some only at a specified price and some at anything above $xx.xx

    You may also be allowed to give the product away or not, and the same applies to bundling it with other products.

    Always read your licence carefully - and if you are the creator - make sure you give Clear instructions to anyone you grant "rights" to.

    There is nothing worse than someone taking your product that you want sold at $47 and then they are selling it on ebay for $0.99 which does nothing but de-value the product.

    That reminds me - a lot of products now include an "Auction Clause" (not allowed to be sold on auction sites) to prevent that very thing.

    and, unfortunately, there's no way to know for sure.

    however, my guess is that if you're honestly innocent in all of this and someone contacts you and you explain the situation and remove the content (or negotiate some sort of deal) that nothing too terrible would happen.
