    Hi,
This is a question for website designers.

When you are contacted for a website design , how do you finalise a templet with the client?

Don't get me wrong but I have worked for only 5 projects yet as I am pretty new to this business and those people didn't know much about how should they present their website , so I made a templet for them and they liked it but this is not the case with all clients . So how do you guys do it ?

    Thanks
    Jeet

get them to sketch out a design on paper and send you a copy so you know what they want then do some basic sample templates and see what they think.

you could also show them some other templates you've pre-made or made for others and see if they like any.

If you don't do alot of local business, then I would suggest getting them to use Word or Paint. Faster and easier for both or you, but possibly less accurate.
