Questions to the YouTube Clone Coders and Developers

    Hi,

    I have been searching and testing youtube clones scripts for the last 3 weeks and none got my attention except one, but it does not have the audio and image features. In the same time I'm checking the big boys also for thier features, and today I looked in the yahoo video page for the first time (I'm not a yahoo fan) and got shocked.
    here is the results i got (test with dialup 56kbps):

    I was timing buffering time and play time

    yahoo
    buffer 10s play 6-8s
    youtube
    buffer 15+s play 3s
    megavideo
    buffer 30s play 3s
    clip.vn
    buffer 50s play 3s
    metacafe
    buffer 20s play 2s
    dailymotion
    buffer 150+s play 10+s
    revver
    buffer 60s play 5s

    from the results yahoo is by far have the edge in page loading and video loading.

    my questions are:
    how did yahoo do it?
    do the youtube clone scripts have the knowledge to match YAHOO ?
    if so, who ?


    NOTE: scripts owners must have a demo to support thier match to YAHOO, otherwise we'll wait for someone who can.
