I've spent ALOT of time intrgrating Adsense ads into my site and have now ran out of ideas, I average about 2 clicks a day and I know I could be doing better.

Anyways have a look and see what you think

    I average on a normal day 500

    On a busy day, 1,000

Usually get roughly 1,000 near the end of the week and 500 around the beginning

IMO, you've tucked the ads too far down in each segment so that they look like footnotes in a book. Kind of jumbled. Sure, they're blended, but they may be a little TOO blended. It took me a second look to even find them, but I don't consider that a good thing because i didn't recognize it as a link right away either.

That's a lot. I would expect you to get more than 2 clicks a day.
I have a site that averages about 500 uniques but gets about 25 clicks a day.
You need to put your ads where they can be seen. For example, put a large rectangular ad block on the center (example, on the right side of Legend of Hyrule).

    Move ads HERE

    (Read More... | 1475 bytes more | comments? | Score: 0)

    not HERE

That worked for me (though I´m still getting very few clicks, they are more than before)

Also you can add a text links unit between menu and IRC chat boxes

And hmm... replace ad on 3rd post for something more visible on top or replace current ads for the wider version ads.

With the browser on my second monitor (1024x768) you have to scroll down to even see an ad - not good. Some may argue with me, but I'd also put a horizontal link unit above the spot that says 'Linken's Quest'.

i belief that we had similar complaints before here in DP forum
and they all had one in common
    black sites
i never would spend a minute on a black background site - it simply is too tiring and far too uncomfortable to rest with eyes AND mind on a dark bg page

i also never would search for any link or ads on such pages - all I do is to close window and search for another site
most likely many of your site visitors do the same that's why other site owners with black or dark bg have all the same problems

may be you just try ones for a full week a white bg and a black font like most of the successful sites do

Use a wider format like 468x60.
    Wider = Better CTR

take your time to read google adsense tips or better the original google-pages about the popular formats and the heat-map google has
proper formats and location of ads may result in different adsv - for example some formats have more image or movie ads than others

in my experience the first ads - the most expensive ones often are the most boring ads - hence the key is to have sufficient ad slots among your 3 ad units to have less expensive but more interesting ads as well.

enough ad slots to always have all full - empty slots means no competition and hence lower click $
