    It took quite some time to load for me, the adsense looks out of place rammed right up there at the top, it makes it look like its outside the website.

    Id place the adsense in between something.

    I would advise you to hook up a horizontal link unit just below the sign up boxes. The top ad unit may not get you any good CTR IMO..
