    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Rate Ad placement on site, and I need some opinions on what to do.

First off, here is my site:

    http://quotevoid.sitesled.com

Here is the updated version I'm working on:

    http://quotevoid.sitesled.com/newlayout

Ok, School starts next week for me and I have a decision to make. I was really hoping I would be done with everything by this weekend, as I still have some summer reading to do before thursday lol. Well its quite apparent that that isn't going to happen. My dilema is whether or not to just replace what I have now with the new unfinished design, or leave what I have now and wait till I'm finished.

Everything I have on the current site is all working on the new site, but alot of the features I planned on adding are not done yet. So nothing will be lost in the transition, its just that it will be incomplete. As you can see some of the links don't even work yet, but I can eaisly make a few pages that say "under construction" or what not. I'm just wondering if that would hurt me in the long run as it might leave a bad impression for new visitors.

I'm also very eager to see how well, if it all, my new ad placement will affect my earnings. I still need to add a link unit under the right side of the menu.

Anyways, any advice on what I should do? Thanks alot!

lol, I've posted this message here and like two other boards and no one has responded. Am I not making sense? Or is it really obvious that I should just not upload it? Or no one is really sure?

I like the new site layout much better. If you're not yet getting a lot of traffic, why not just upload the new site and work on it as you have time.

Thats what one part of me is thinking lol. I'm just worried that when people see things that say "under construction" they might think less of the site.

I could go through each page and change the menu so only the parts that are done would show up, but that would take quite awhile as I have over 200 pages, and I'm not sure if its worth it.

Thanks for the input though, I'd like to hear a few more comments before I make a decision though. =)
