    HI,
I'm looking to start an ebay buisness. I would like to sell ipods, psps, camcorders, or other small electronics. Does anyone know any legit dropshippers that have products at lower prices than ebay.

    Thanks
    Tim

My advice, don't even bother getting into the electronics biz, it's VERY competitive with low margins and only the big players can buy in large enough volumes to turn over a decent profit.

Amen, if you're just starting out in the dropship business, don't start with electronics. Severly competitive, lots of hassles. Instead, find a niche product market, specialized products in which only some people want and not too many people sell it.

-Finding dropshippers, you can do this yourself but I am big on Worldwide Brands, Inc. (Chris Malta's Drop Ship Source), you can get a subscription and then you'll have access to thousands of product line and drop ship contacts there.

Electronics on Ebay?? no way, I'm not saying it's not possible, but way too big of a first endeavor.

Dropping shipping on eBay is a bad idea, in my opinion. Unless you are completely honest with your buyer and tell them that their purchase will show up some day...Dropshippers arn't the most reliable for ontime deliveries which will quickly kill an eBay based business.

If you can, I would recommend finding a wholesale distributor. This way, you are actually buying from a legitimate (and legal*) source. Many wholesalers also drop ship.

As much as I don't want to say don't do it, I also think electronics is overly competitive, especially for a startup, and even more especially on ebay.

If you're looking for another source, also go with www.worldwidebrands.com (Drop Ship Source Directory). They'll the best and have been online for a while. Can't recommend them enough.

I feel worldwide does a pretty good job, I am listed for the engraved plaques in their site, but lots of people ignore what I am offering for wholesale and have wasted my time asking for everything else.

You all seem to think electroincs are not good to sell. Do you have any other ideas to sell? I would like to sign up for worldwidebrands but I don't have enough money. That is why I would like someone to tell me another place that is free and works so I can save the money for worldwidebrands.
    Any help would be great.
