Recession and the Web

I was reading an article in the financial review today (during my mid morning coffee break that discussed Alan Greenspans (former fed head) disenting view that the U.S would soon be heading into a recession as early as late 2007. Now it's important to note that the current fed chair Bernanke disagrees with this view.

So it got me thinking, to what extent does a U.S only slowdown/recession affect the income that we all generate from the net. Obviously there is going to be lower rates on adsense etc But I wonder if other parts of the world (Europe) tend to pick up the slack.

Has anyone been through a recession thats impacted online work and if so what happened etc ??

Well since the 'Federal Reserve' is no more federal than Federal Express you may want to take what they say with a grain of salt. In fact what they are is group of privatized central bankers controlling the market like a cartel. So you may just want to do the opposite of what they say and try and remain safe.

However the market made a big plunge today so we may in fact be heading into a recession.

My advice to you........move your happy butt to some third world country where the standard of living is so low you can't be effected by some silly psudeo recession and purposeful hyper inflation.
