    Hi everyone... Hoping to take advantage of some of your experience on what hosting companies you use for your dedicated servers.

    I recently purchased a site that is going to need a dedicated server and need some good advice on quality hosts, resonable price and great service.

    Any help would be great! Thanks in advance...

    I was with Rackspace but their growing pains were too painful for me. Now I'm on servint.com with a vps and it's great!

    We use 800hosting and we have used rackspace. Both have been very good. 800hosting is much cheaper for about the same server. Rackspace has a little better support, but 800hosting's is still very good.

    I would recommend either of them.

    I would say The Planet. They have great customer service, their servers are top notch but their pricing is a little high maybe along the same lines as Rackspace, but you get what you pay for IMHO.

    I have had no problems with The Planet, they have always responded to any issues in a timely manner and I have not had my servers go down once since I have been with them. I do not know a lot about server admin but these guys have taken the time to walk me through any issues I may bring up. To me that is the sign of a good company.
