Recommendable online banking

    hi,
As you all know, you cannot use PayPal to receive your Adsense payment, which kinda sucks. So either you have to wait for your check to come, or add your bank account to it for EFT.

I prefer the latter, because then I can transfer the money back to PayPal account. So my question is what is the best online banking account to use?

I want on-line banking that allows me to open an account online conveniently (without having to visit their branch) and has good reputation. High interest is a plus, but not required as I will not put much money on it. I'm just gonna use it as a way to transfer adsense payment to my PayPal account.

please exclude ING from your recommendation.
    Thanks,

What would be the best choice for international users ?

It takes one full week for the check to arrive and one and a half month to cash it.

If anyone can give some advice on this, it would be really helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

To name a few: Chase, bankofamerica, M&I bank and trust.

I would really suggest contacting your local bank and see if they offer online services.

really, any checking type back account should fit your needs. Dont worry much about the interest rate as you will getnext to nothing for checking or savings accounts.

    Good luck...

Just looked at Chase and is not for international users. "This site is directed at persons in the US only". Any other options ?

I recommend Emigrant-Direct.com if interest is what you're lookin for. 4.0% with no acct fees or anything.

I don't think it is going to be easy to for a non-citizen or person without a US address to be able to open an account with a US bank because of money laundering and transer issues. The USA Patriot Act has made it even harder.

    That's right
But there are some reptuable offshore banks and even well-known banks offer this service. The fees are quite high.

Do some search, I don't have data about that anymore.
Anyway be careful, I was searching about this some time ago and get everyday phishing mails in my mail account since this time.

    Where do you live?
In UK, just about every high street bank has online banking. Not to mention the 'online only' banks now.

Why not just use a local bank?

I have a feeling that most banks like you to have a physical presence before giving you an online account.
Why not go to one of big multinational banks in your county, try someone like HSBC or Barclays they tend to have an office in most countries.
