Reddit, Alexa?

I have been trying to do well in alexa and reddit, but the more I try the worse it becomes.
Is there a correct way? Are there specialists who are willing to explain / provide ideas?

I am using reddit to promote my sites with not good success. But, I kinda got used to check back everyday and ended up procrastinating 1-2 hours daily. I even started to submit "stories" which I found surfing the net. What I learned is that you have to put a whole sentence as a title and it has to be catchy. People will start voting and commenting... a lot. That will also increase your karma. I think that all these social websites are good to promote your sites but are time consuming as well. You have to get involved with the community.
Also, I put one of their widgets into a post in my blog and had instantly a lot of viewers from reddit. I think they somehow advantage you if you use their widgets, cause that is advertise for them.

 

Use social book marking sites to promote your stories , articles, blogs you will get good traffic and back link also.

 

You would be best off finding a power user on reddit to promote your posts or images to get you traffic. Alexa i think is just a traffic ranking system so I would not worry about that site unless I missed something new about them.

 

I have a fairy decent Reddit account, if any one wants any thing submitting then pass it my way. I won't just post any old junk but if you have some good content I am willing to post it.
