Reddit.com problem

You've submitted too many links recently. Please try again in an hour.

i got problem like above,when im going to submit my site to reddit.com.
im sure i didn't submit any post before few days ago.why happen like this???

 

I get this problem too sometimes. However, after logging in and waiting an hour or so, it works fine.

 

If they think you are spamming links to the site they will post that message when you try to submit a link but will not unblock your account sometimes for weeks at a time.

 

I never experience it before. Possible reason for it was due to huge spamming
in their network or they are doing some updates.

i have the same problem and need publish another in 8 minutes .

 

sometimes i do encounter that problem too. Usually I'll just wait for about 5-10 minutes to resubmit the link that i'm trying to add on reddit

 

yes.. if you get any problem with submission in reddit then w8 for 10 min and then after submit. Reddit doent allow to submit links together..
U need to w8 for that.

 

Never had that problem or seen that message. Obviously like it says you are sending to many links. Slow down. I have sent a few to reddit you must be sending way more than average. Space your submissions out at the very least.

I didn't face this issue with reddit.com till now. If you face this issue again, just log out and login again after 10 - 15 minutes. Some times it may occur due to some issue at their end also.

 

Yes, you will get this message, if you are submitting the links at a random stage, means very quickly, one after another. So the next time, if you wanna submit any link on reddit, just try to submit one and shift to other bookmarking site. Come back to reddit after 10 mins, if you do this regularly, you will never face such issues

 

I have same issue right now
account 4 yrs old, never had any problems before
I deleted some 50+ submissions from pages no longer valid, added 3 or 4 new ones
and since about 2 days I get that message "You've submitted too many links recently. Please try again in an hour."
I try ever few hrs - NO change so far
now may be time to forget reddit.com and come back in a few weeks or months

 

There is a cap on how many things you can post per time increment, this is to prevent spamming. This restriction is the same for both reddit gold members and non-gold members.
