    If your site has news related items, or any items that can be seen as time sensitive like a tutorial or feature, then post it on Reddit. That site is my biggest 'social' based traffic generator, and I've never had an item go to the front page.

    Post other tips or experience you've had with Reddit here!

    I believe in reddit social bookmarking site and recommend it for every webmaster who want to get instant traffic for his site.

    You can post anything but if you spam they ban you. Best to stick with news items, new products, new tutorials, articles, anything that is new content.
