Referral adsense blocks are not working yet?

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by DomainMagnate, Nov 6, 2005.

    I've just put a referral adsense block on my site, but instead of displaying a referral ad, there is a blank white box there...

    Do you see the same thing or may be I did something wrong?

    thanks, Michael

    google_ad_width = 110;
    google_ad_height = 32;

    try to change this ^^^^ into this:

    google_ad_width = "110";
    google_ad_height = "32";

    Explaination:
    i think if you forget the "" 's, the browers thinks it 0 pixels, and you can't see it ;)

    I think you picked the wrong ad, because it's there :) just look at the top-right: there's a button with the google toolbar with firefox. THAT'S your ad ;)

    http://autosurfbest.com/ - You can see a white box in the right down corner. This is supposed to be adsense referral block.
    My theory is that the adsense bot can't find any content on site which may be related to the referral block...

    Coould anyone please show me any site where adsense referral blocks work?

    I have the exact same problem on my site, the adsense image is not showing up and I wonder about the reason. I can see the script in the source of the page though..

    i don't see anything at all on that site, but i know the referral blocks doesn't work with targeted ads. You place a referral block on your site (which is always the same picture, the picture you chose when creating the code), and when someone click on that block, ánd signs up for adsense, it's your referral. When your referral reaches his first $100,- you get $100,- also.

    I've removed the block recently, but if you are right, I need to remove adsense to put my referral block? Are you sure?

    I mean I removed the referral block, because it wasn't working.
    Now I hav there only content ads and if I understand you right, referral blocks only work if there are no content ads on the page..?
