Request for good tutorial to use photoshop.

Hello People,

I am a newbie in using this software and have just got hold of this photoshop CS3 10(portable).

Can anyone please provide me a link/website address which can teach me the basics of using this software more efficiently?

I have never used this software in the past and hence I am just not able to figure out how I should begin with it.

There are so many Photoshop tutorials out there, most of them will be understandable even for a beginner like you. Just find some tutorials you like and start working, you will learn the basics as you go along

 

best way to find new tutorials is to google and they have some nice ones on the adobe website

 

If you have a bit of cash you can't beat http://www.lynda.com/ additionally, as others have mentioned, Google will return loads of free tutorials which helps if you want to learn something specific.

The best thing to do is learn the tool palette and your keyboard shortcuts.
