Restricting stats folder

    On my domain, my provider has setup a stats folder which can't be deleted. It is right off the root.

    IE http://www.domain.com/stats

    This folder is publically viewable.

    How can I restrict this folder so that absolutely no one can access it through a browser window. I personally use a third party stats program anyways and don't need it myself.

    umm change the permission of the file? make it 0770 or something like that?
