I have an embossed object. For a reason, I need to flip, but the flipped object needs to look like reverse-embossed(??? Is there such a word???). How can I do this in Photoshop?

If you open up the layer properties, there is an Bevel/Emboss tab. Within that, you can apply several different types of embossing and make it convex or concave (up or down). Hope that helps.

Yeah, just make sure you saved the file with the effects still in tact, then theres a checkbox for up or down, to give it more depth or what not, you can also select from smooth, chisel hard or chisel soft.
