Any chance any of you Adsense guru's could review the placement of my ads on http://tinyurl.com/5fo3xu

I need to start getting some clicks (to pay my mate for the hosting bill! lol). I'm getting serious with AdSense now. I want to make sure my ads are looking good before I start my new traffic campaign :)

    Cheers,

    Jack

hi, Use 336 X 280 in between your posts and remove the 120 X 600 image and replace with text links. As image will only pay on the basis of impressions. 1000 impressions will give only .05 cents I guess. Until you have a lotta impressions don't go for image ads just yet. Build traffic and then go for image ads.

I would suggest you look at my blog www.codeitwell.com where I had similar layout and current ads are performing better than the Leaderboard / Banners so get yourself ads into the Box in the top right corner.

Also removing the ads in the bottom would help as that will have less CTR or you can go for some Link unit at top

I would move the skyscraper ad unit located on the right sidebar from the current location near at the bottom to at least somewhere in the middle. Probably, that would get more attention of visitors.
