I've embeded the ads within the posts as well as the top part of the forum with an image next to it.

Do you think a leaderboard at the header of the forum will have better CTR ?

Please advise!

 

Is that even legal? (the way you have integrated those ads)

If so, I think it's a great way to use Adsense...but, that said...I'm gonna have to suggest dropping adsense and selling ad space yourself. Forums have a notoriously low CTR...you'll typically find much more success selling ad space yourself to individual sellers

 

For how much can i sell the ADs outside? I have 2500 - 3300 visitors daily.

Hmmmm...Silkroad - looks like an online game of sorts? Similar to WoW?

You get a lot of traffic...I bet you could rotate 5 468x60 banners up there and sell them for $30/month a piece, probably even more. That would be $150/month. What you need to do is find sites with similar traffic and see what they are offering...you might just want to "test the waters" by selling your ads slightly below the price you expect to sell at. See how quickly they sell...if they do, raise it next month and check again...if they keep selling quickly, raise the price slightly each time. If you have trouble selling them, lower the price.
