I have a health related blog, I write articles about nootropics, brain training, and memory improvement etc. I was wondering what you think of my ad placements and general layout? I've read its best to have ads on the left hand side as people tend to read from left to right. My site is slowly gaining popularity but I'm not getting too many clicks. If you have any suggestions let me know thanks :)

    my site is www.chembrain.com

    Hello,

Your site design is okay. It is easy on the eyes. However when it comes to adsense placements, if you really want to gear your target traffic to the ads, you should place the ads before/on top of the content.

For example: You should try placing your article content on the left side, and placing the adsense ontop of it. This usually increases the adsense clicks. It is the best way to place your ads. After that, you should play around with color of the adsense box. Maybe try making the adsense titles default blue. This can also increase your earnings. And finally, put your "Grab my feed" "Chemistry Brain" "Link Exchanges" and so on and so forth, on the right hand side. In my experiance. Content on the left, other stuff on the right is better.

    Hope this helped.

    All the best.

I think the wide skyscraper and the medium square does better than what you are currently using. You ads are to small imo.
