    instead of focusing on revenue
    focus on MUCH more content to get thousands of daily visitors - then $ also will start to flow !

    I find the green adsense text against the red background harsh on my eyes, it makes me want to look away, could put others off looking and clicking.

    A good book on this subject is The AdSense Code (like Davinci Code) by Joel Comm. It has some commonsense but useful tips; for example, while your green on black ads are fashionable, they may not be as blended with the content as they could be. Ideally, users see your ads as just as useful and one with the text on your page. Perhaps putting the ads in the body of the page, not at the top, and using the same background color could help.

    Place your ad in the content. Minimise the ads on the sidebar. Work on your search engine traffic.
