Review my Adsense placement and help a fellow DP member make it on Jay Leno!

    Hey fellow DP'ers,

Just wondering if you guys can help me review my adsense placement on my site. http://onedollarplaystation3.com/

Every year I try to do something good for others. So this year, I decided to give up my PlayStation 3 (as much I would love to keep it) to someone who needs it more than me. So I am selling my playstation 3 on eBay for $1.

I have the site up so I can raise enough money to personally hand deliver the PS3 to the lucky winner. I ask all DP's to help spread the holiday spirit by writing in your blog or site about my $1 Playstation 3 auction, and in return I will have your link (press section) on my site. And hopefully the media will pick up my auction and maybe you will see a fellow DP'er on Jay Leno.

You can find my Press Release here: http://www.prlog.org/10004072-bay-seller-to-auction-playstation-3-system-for-1.html

Thank you DP Forum for everything, this site has given me so many opportunities!

I think you'd see a very happy increase in clicks if you embedded a rectangle or square ad into the main content.

You can do a better job of being charitable (much props to you though) if you donated that Playstation or hand delivered it to a child in need. Better yet, participate in a Dear Santa program where underpriviledged kids and parents write letters to Santa asking for a gift. For all we know, a man making $80,000 a year living in the suburbs who can afford a PS3 could win your auction and resell it himself. You don't know who is going to win. Very poor approach if you ask me.

    Thanks for you opinion. :)

I wanted to do something that everybody can get involved with and boost the holiday spirit around the world. That's why I set up a site and they write to Santa and they explain how they have been good this year. It's just something fun for everyone for this holiday season and hopefully it will help boost the holiday spirit. And I do hope this PS3 will go to right people.

I admire you wanting to give a Playstation 3 for a dollar, but the holidays is about giving to those in need, not giving to those who want. There will be plenty of greedy people refreshing your auction as soon as pre-screening is over, people who have money, people who use technology, people who can easily replace the Playstation. Select a child who has very few toys and whose parents cannot afford much, if they decide to resell it, it will be for their benefit. What if you hand deliver it to a father whose kids already have Xbox 360? What purpose would that serve? Im not telling you to change your auction but the person who can most afford a Playstation shouldn't be the one who gets it.

First off this DP site sucks. "Live links and signatures are not available to you ye" then don't put them in my message upon reply.

Who "needs it" when it comes to a PS3? There are people that "need" food and clothing, not overrated video games.

Finally, why do people really think he's being so charitable? Why not sell it for $20 and mail the damn thing. Why use Adsend and make money? Why not do it semi-anon over the web with eBay certified purchase?

It's all about his popularity for yet another online gimic.

The funniest thing about CHBC's video covering the story was: "Uk, Argentina and Europe" :p

Ouchs, you could have made a contest with more impact, but I hope you do still get some covering.
