Review my first site - I struck it?

Hello everyone. I am still a high school student and this is what ive managed to achieve. My site went online on December the 12th, and within 3 days i had achieved 1000 pageviews.Two weeks afterwards I had reached 3500 pageviews per day as an all time high. I am currently enjoying an average of 3000 pageviews per day, 500 visitors.

There is one problem. I am not getting clicks. Under 0.2% CTR. Please review my ad placement.

Well theres no ads on the front page? That would bring in some extra revenue

I can't see anything really wrong with the other pages.. so I'll let you get suggestions from everyoneone else

if
thats IF visitors go to your site and dont find what they want on your first page
give them the option of clicking on your ads
they might exit your site but at least you will get some $$ for it

Also you can use link units on all pages

 

I will put an advert on the first page. Does anyone think I should make an introduction video and add it there too?

 

Yeah, put a little more content there on the first, add a top banner and then a link unit in your left menu that blends well with it. That should help a lot. Don't forget other ways to make money off your visitors like affiliate programs and even the new pay per play where you get paid for every visitor, regardless if they click or not. Theres more info in my sig about that.

 

add a leaderboard below your banner at the top...

and add half banners between paragraphs...with white text colors...i think it would be perfect with the color of your bg...
