I have an ad on the left sidebar on the main page and during games I have two advertisements on the main page along with the left sidebar ad.

Is this legal? Is this good placement?

I'd move that ad on the left nav higher up, maybe just under User Area or something to attract more attention. I'd also have a banner just above and below the game, also.

Overall that should give you a lot higher CTR.

    Pretty nice placement!

You can try adding a text only 250 x 250 block below your content, and then an image only 250 x 250 block beside it.

I'm not entirely sure how to add ads outside the places given. I use a script that gets my publisher code and stuff from a PHP file and it places them there and I'm not sure how to arrange them otherwise.

Do you think people will scroll down the site and click on that ad on the sidebar?
Use a Ad banner at the top of the site...

An AD should be seen on the top page so that you get more clicks...Just dont let it be too Big as it could also be a turnoff then !!
