To attract more clicks, I would blend the background of the top ads (make the titles stand out). I may also insert a horizontal link unit just below 'Recipe Categories' header.

Good Luck with your site :)

I think if any clicks you would get - probably from right nav. My first impression was the navigation on the top (OK I am a savvy surfer and am immune to ads) but rightnav ads is what caught my attention. You can work on that area to improve the blending (Don't over blend it thought). Ad unit under login area - I doubt if you would get many clicks there.

You have very good niche. Your site can bring in high traffic (I have searched Indian recipies - 1000s of times), student life in US away from India always brings itch for Indian food - SEO it really well - good luck. To begin with, use SE friendly URLs.

    Overall site looks good.
Color combination is not really helping the adsense.
Site did load little slower than expected - That drive off some traffic.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Overall I liked the concept and design. A couple of things you may want to consider:

    1) Response time was very slow. I doubt I would normally wait that long if I was scanning through the web looking for some Indian recipes.

    2) I think there was a bit too many ads on the site. It is tough finding the right combination of ad, content, and placement. Usually, I do not mind, but on your site, it did seem like a bit too much, particularly those interspered within the category titles.

    Hope this helps,
    Rich

i think you need some help in blending those ads a little better. The image next to the top banner is of poor quality and the bottom links' background doesn't match at all. Maybe (self-promotion warning) This site can help: http://adclustr.com/

The site loading time is little bit slow. The link units you have placed below the login page. Please move it next to your menu and blend it like same color like your menu color. It will works well.
