Um we'll considering I can't even see your site I'm going to not even review you, beacuse man that's stupid to just do the google ads showing, don't post stupid stuff like this,; consider yourself warned.

 

You are using bright green color for your adsense link titles which make them stand out from the rest of your content, my advice is to tone them down a bit, infact use the same color as other links on your site.

 

Too dark. I can't read it.

 

Pretty dark for a humor site but this is a review sooo

1. Lighten it up unless this is death humor then well lighten it up anyway
2. Go Google Adsense is horribly integrated. Remember put them in a "F" pattern and use the link units 728X15 under your main toolbar
3. Header font needs to be bigger, OR get a REAL logo

I have added an adsense column on the left, added an add at the top of the page. And changed links to white.

What do you think now?

Ad placement is not bad now, just have to lighten that site up. You will be surprised how much more you will earn by brightening it up and adding a well done logo.

 

Well my old side was uber dark. Black backround, and white text apart from that just a blue logo however it was a good logo. That was at highest point alexa rank 80,000 then I changed to wordpress and lost all my traffic because all the old pages got deleted. Now I am rank like 1,000,000.

Looks much better now, i don't think your site is too dark, colors are ok. Content is pretty good as well, just keep working on adding more content and i am sure you will easily regain your alexa ranking. Last time i played around with your site i started getting file not found or file deleted errors.

 

Subscribe is spelled wrong in your footer.

 

First get a new wordpress theme. http://themes.wordpress.net
Get one that is easy for the user to read. You current one isn't really going to attrack people to come back or even click the ads.

Well,

My plan is to get enough cash to get a nice wordpress theme done. Its a bit of a catch 22 because without a good theme I get no clicks but i need clicks to buy a theme.

There are plenty of wordpress themes available for you. You shouldnt have to wait to get a professional one created. Just do a search on google for professional wordpress themes.
