    I would advise you to put the content before the ads for better results and site quality :)

    I will think that you are focusing more on the adsense than the site content if I have to read the ads before reaching your content..

    it's tough since if you click read more for your entries it bring you to another site and takes you off your blog

    You can try to create more original content and quote the articles so if you click read more you end up on a single post page where you could put adsense on top of your entry. The first thing you see on your page is your header and a big ad block -- that can be tough
