Hi! I'm only a novice when it comes to Adsense, but even so, one of my sites is doing ok. I think it'd do a lot better if I did some changes to it.

If you had this site, what would you do to it?

Please IM me your suggestions and I'll pay you $2 for your trouble! Or post them here I guess, it's all good. I know $2 isn't anything, but if you're helping me make more money, it's only fair. I can afford this for like, the first 20 people haha.

The site is riflestocks dot tripod dot com.

I'm looking for specific suggestions that I can use and change today to start making more money on it. As long as it's within TOS, I'll do it!

    Thanks,
    Austin

You need to start posting a clickable URL in your posts. You should also set up a signature with your sites listed in it. You have 30 posts on DP now, and if you had a signature, you would have 30 backlinks already!

Backlinks help improve your position in Google's search results and that helps increase your traffic. And more traffic means more $$.

No need to send me the $2. I would rather see you save it and put it toward marketing. Who else can offer him some free advice? Lets see how much we can raise for his marketing plan!

If 20 people post here to help him I will give him a PR5 backlink on one of my pages for a month - http://www.schrockinnovations.com/sitemap.php.

Follow up help: Get rid of the Adsense Search links unless you are making money off them They always underperformed for me. Also, be careful with the images above your ads. A bunch of people on the forum just got spanked for that this last month (myself included).

One other thing - You might want to get a new domain name. A tripod subdomain is not very descriptive of your content. Try to get a domain with rifle stock some where in the name - the shorter the better.

I'd put another content button - same or similar to your top one, directly below the main text.

Personally if your really serious you need a new domain and a new site design, at the moment its not good.

Btw you don't need to pay anyone for advice, bored webmasters will usually just help you out :)

For the life of me, I can't understand why someone would create a nice web site with good content and then place Adsense ads at the very top of the page luring visitors to click on the ads and leave the site, before they've had time to look at the site, probably never to return, for a few pennies per click???????????????????? Don't waste your time on creating content, just create a sucky home page that makes people click on ads because they are so disappointed in what they've found there.

Start a web forum about you site. and put all the google adsense ads on the forums. post interesting topics in which people are interested. When people will discuss things you'll earn money through Adsense. Once ur forum is famous then add a revenue shring mod to help others and encourage them for posting like DP.
