Robbed 3 times in a month, what would YOU do?

My car was robbed twice this month, and i get one flat tire with 4 knife holes so i had to buy a new one so i was robbed in some way too...

What would you do?

After complaining to the authorities that don't do anything here are my options:

a: Don't sleep a month or so and try to catch the guys doing to same and try my luck with my dad's rifle

b: Let it go and let the rest of the car get robbed without caring cause...I shouldn't care about these "small" things

c: Ask for a bank loan to buy a garage and pay it for 20 years or so, just to avoid being roobed by some kids.

d: Any other option

 

Is it legal to use the rifle in Australia on criminals on your property?

Web cam was a good option, i thought about that too, but there's not enough street light to see something.
Motion light is not an option too.

But no, it's not legal to use a rifle in Portugal either, but that is just a desesperate option, maybe some shots to the air may scare them enough so they don't return...

I had a friend that kept getting robbed so he slept in his car. On the third night he got to play baseball with some kneecaps and hasn't been robbed since.

 

Get rid of that cursed car a get a new one..

I have a car alarm, but it's an intrusion only.
They robbed the exterior so the alarm didn't go on!

 

Ah sorry, I assumed from the link in your signature (the domain extension was .net.au) that you lived in Australia.

If it persists (it sounds like it's the same people every time) the only option is to scare them. The more violent and mental your actions, the less likely they will come back.

I know a fella who once chased some persistant bastards off with a chainsaw.

Convince them you're mental and their life is in danger by being anywhere near your property. They will stay away.

Forget doing anything with a rifle if it's illegal - don't let them know there's something better to rob then your car.

What on earth could they be stealing off the outer surface of the car? Is paint and pinstriping a commodity in Portugal?

 

My Homo Sapiens instint tells me to do that, but would those animals deserve that i loose my mental sanity because of this?

Oh no, don't lose your sanity - just make them think you have.

Hire a chainsaw for a week and burst out of the house with it the next time they come. You don't have to use it.. obviously.. just run out shouting with the chainsaw growlin' and that's the last you will see of them!

The trouble with most other methods (baseball bat) is they may challenge you and you could end up receiving blows to the head! No-one challenges chainsaws. They run from them in terror.

Loss around 200€ or so...
Already spent 130€ in tires...

The problem is that i have to sleep at night, i don't have time to just keep waiting for these f*ckers to come again...
