    In photoshop?
    Hold down the 'rectangle tool' until it pops out, then select 'rounded rectangle tool'.

    used it on my site,the author suggests it's better that you use images,
    you can also use http://www.openrico.org/demos?demo=effect_round
    if you want javascript functions

    I do a couple of things in the DIV blocks on my site to generate rounded corners.

    Basically, each DIV block is a CSS command including rounded corner images. You can make the for free and even with gradients at Roundedcornr.com.

    Then you just place them in the backgrounds of your DIV, header, or whatever you want to have rounded corners. I recommend getting them with a set background color (as opposed to transparent).
