Running a Business & Having a Life?

    Hello Everyone :)

I've been reading some success stories on the net, and it seems these people gave up everything to succeed. For example, Mark Cuban lost 5 girlfriends in 7 years because he chose to work countless hours. This kind of has me worried as my business grows if I'll be able to have a life? But I also only want to make about $50-60k a year for my lifestyle as I'm not into fancy cars or really big houses, so that should cut back some instead of going after billions like Mark did. I'm only 20, so hopefully I just adjust to things. But I want to atleast be able to have a girlfriend and a future family.

What's your thoughts on having a life while running a business?

    Thanks,
    Scott

There is no upper limit of money, you'll never be contended with it.

But if you want to make 50-60k, you can have a good life along.

My thoughts are simple.... Have someone else run it for you!

    AKA

Set up affiliates to promote your products!

Build the Biz a Big as you are comfortable doing *Without a Personal Life*, then interview and train one or two others to run it for you, while overseeing what they do and then go on with your personal life, engage in all you had missed out on and enjoy it...

Never let anyone run your Biz if you have any doubts at all... Keep an eye on everything...

60k a year should be easy just as a part time consultant if you have programming skills. Stay there make your money and enjoy a few months off and go fishing in Costa Rica. That's my two cents.

You have to compromise between two desires and make some adjustments.

If he went through that many GF's something else was wrong. I'm in my 10th year of running my own biz and still seem to have time for family! It's a lot of work, a lot of stress, good times and bad times. But throug it all, it is worth it!
