    Just found out from my sister; My mom and dad are in Czech Rep. where they bought an apartment. They were going into a Home Depot type store which just had new 1000 Pound+ doors installed. One fell of and landed on my mother and another lady. My mom is going in for surgery shortly with many broken bones and internal bleeding. The other lady is apparantly worse off.

    Sorry, I'm home alone right now and just wanted to get that off my chest.

    Do hope you Mother and the other woman make full recovery and hope your sister finds a computer just as soon as she knows anyting to report. All hospitals shoulld have computers in waiting rooms so family members can contact others who can't be there.

    Thanks, the worse thing is not knowing as she won't be out of surgery for sometime and being in Vancouver and not being able to visit.

    Ah, I went to brno last year. I would assume they have a good hospital there--there're lots of worse places in czech she could be.

    It's also very close to Prague which (i would guess) has some of the best care in the country.
