Sales calls....

My site was added to Yahoo directory less than 48 hrs ago.

hopefully the links will help out etc, but I have gotten so much spam it is unbelievable and other unwanted crap it is becoming a hassle

and an "seo pro" j-j-just called stuuuutttering ---if i typed xyz in google would i find your site...

absolutely no tact...if he happens to read this....try taking a deep breathe next time....speak slowly and clearly....try listening to the other end of the phone

it reminds me of my guidance counselor in high school who asked me if I knew that I had been accepted to my uni of choice-like a month later. come on, man

 

I've had calls from Yahoo. In fact, the day this chap called he asked if I typed in XYZ in Yahoo would he find my site. I said, "I don't know, why don't you give it a try." He did and I was #4.

 

I'm up a third this month on the traffic to my sites and I am also finding the levels of spam are increasing as well. Probably means the visitors to my site are just spambots. Don't you just hate those spambots!!!

my traffic has spiked as well, due to the google update...

but more importantly, I have also won the lottery half a dozen times this morning and had an offer to facilitate negotiations between OPEC and the US.

 

i don't mind the lottery spam all that much. Whatever gets past the yahoo filter I respond to with a number of creative explectives and links to tubgirl.

 

There are measures you can take to hide your email addresses from Spam-bots.
