    As someone from the UK planning to spend some months in S. California where would you stay ?

    San Diego, Orange County & S. California

    beaches, socialising, cool places, location, transport the usual stuff a 28 yr old might want..

    Where and why ?

    No, I havent been yet, I meant to go in oct, then dec but im being held up.. so Ive delayed it til mid jan - that way I can go to rio carnival too.

    Cant wait & I hope its warm ;)

    On my list so far is:
    Las Vegas, Santa Ana, LA, SD, SF - la hoya (or however you spell it :D ), Yosemite and a roadtrip to NYC (dont worry rob, my flight stops in Chicago ;) )

    Im looking for things that aren't too common everywhere and exclusive to the area.

    So.. lets hear the list..
