Saving content in file, not in DB

I want instead of saving my posts (articles) in a database, to save them in a file (like html, or whatever). Is it possible?

Ideally if i can use WP, but saving the articles in a file on my host. Every post to be a single file.

I mean like in the old times, when there was not databases on the web.

I need this because I'm sick of managing big databases and they always require root access.

What do you think? can you suggest me some tutorials or other websites?

Is is possible for small site. But it is not good idea for 10000+ files.

It's not viable to use flat file structure as database, it's not secured, usable and logical.
