    I appreciate the comments. Yes, it is very frustrating. It is very frustrating because I know that we may have to fight our government at some point in the future, and the few Alex Jones, Dylan Averies, Jim Marrs, and other patriots will not be enough to overpower the military industrial complex.

    It is going to take millions of people like Cindy Sheehan, who are simply fed up with the system and are ready to change it by force if necessary, like the founding fathers told us to do.

    The funny thing is, I posted a link to a video clip showing an old woman in New Orleans doing Katrina being tackled and forced from her home by FEMA agents.

    I posted it here in the forum, and Henny and Gtech didn't really comment. Neither did Will Spencer. I find that kind of funny. Are you guys afraid or maybe you just don't care?

    Because trust me, if we have a large enough terrorist attack, any moron can see that FEMA WILL NOT do a good job at helping people.

    Don't be a coward. If you want the US to stay free, and not end up like China, you may have to fight for your freedom, and that may mean giving your life.

    I agree. I sold me car last year and started biking to work. It works in Japan and Korea, and it can work here in the US. While a car or SUV has advantages, it is a cause of headaches for many people.

    I encourage everyone here to be loyal to the Constitution, not the Bush administration or any other admin in power. If they don't follow the guidelines of that document, it doesn't matter if they are Republican or Democrat. I won't support them.

    Some of you should go read the bio on President Andrew Jackson. When he was 14 years of age, a British soldier confronted him and told him to shine is boot. Jackson refused, and the soldier sliced him across the head with a sabre.

    That is the kind of courage its going to take to keep freedom here in the US.

    It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that this has happened.

    1) Parenting - this is by far largely responsible for many of Americans problems. The young people over the last 30 years or so have grown up in single parent homes, not known who there father is, had parents in the crack epidemic, etc. Parents did NOT do a good job of raising their children. Hell, 50% of marriages currently end in divorces...

    2) Education - the same generation has had crummy educations for the most part. Many urban (and even rural) high schools are a joke. Teachers are unqualified, students are passed not knowing the material, facilities and books are outdated and in shortage.

    3) The traps - with a lack of solid education combined with irresponsible parents it's easy for someone fresh into adulthood (18) to get sucked into financial traps. Credit card offers are being shoved in your face, college loans, etc.

    4) Jobs - many of the jobs that pay a good amount (enough to buy a house and support a family) require a lot of work experience and college degrees. Now you have all the loans and can't get a job good enough to pay your way out.

    It doesn't end there either. They (bush admin) want to take away abortion, so more unqualified, irresponsible people are forced to keep children. That's more children that will grow up abused, hungry, have low self esteem and little chance for a good education or future.

    House prices have skyrocketed in many areas along with the cost of living (energy, gas, food, etc) and many of the families on limited budgets have found themselves in bankruptcy, losing they're homes, etc.

    ==================================
    According to the 1998 Survey of Consumer Finances—the latest data source for information on retirement income and pension coverage for households—more than 19% of all near-retiree households, i.e., households in which the main earner is between the ages of 47 and 64, could expect to retire in poverty. Only 57% of these older households can expect to replace half their income in retirement, down from 70% in 1989.
    ==================================

    Based on a national U.S. Census Bureau survey of households representative of the U.S. population, that in 2004 11.9 percent of all U.S. households were "food insecure" because of lack of resources. Of the 13.5 million households that were food insecure, 4.4 million suffered from food insecurity that was so severe that USDA's very conservative measure classified them as "hungry."

    On average, an estimated 18 percent of the requests for emergency food assistance have gone unmet.

    ==================================

    A country that can spend (borrow) hundreds of billions of dollars for oil wars can't even feed millions of it's hungry children.
