In DNforum, there was a fellow got scam by another forum menber

"The favor was that he would send me $250.00 via CC to my paypal and have me directly transfer it to his.

This is to avoid the 4 day wait that paypal makes you do.

For this transaction he said I only had to send back $220.00 for basically doing him this huge favor I get $30.00"

Scummer send the money, then the victim send scammer money. The scammer than request charge back from paypal. Victim lost his money and the scammer got the cash..

i have no idea why he help to other guy, for the 30 buck or just a favor...but if you don't personally know the guy, it doesn't worth to do it. just becareful, it could happen in any forum

This man in Iowa NEVER but never goes for deals like that.
Even from someone in this forum who may need money in paypal, egold, or whatever.
My money in hand is worth more than a possible few bucks helping someone transfer money.

Good heads up samskpunk. As the saying goes, guys, "If it sounds too much like a good thing, that's because it is." Use your common sense!

I'd be cautious about anyone who couldn't wait 4 days for $250.

Lets hope the "victim" gets his $$$ back.

I have been asked a few times to do transfers like these, but i never do.

I sometimes do this for some of my old clients, whom i have known for more than year.
