I turned off my computer because I had to do something and when I got back, i turned it on, and my entire screen flipped to the right. Now I have to turn my head 90 degeress sideways to do anything on the screen. How can I change it back to normal?

    Thanks

Hey sorry to hear about your situation. I can only imagine you craning your neck to read this so I'll make this short.

    Here's a URL: http://www.mtekk.com.au/Forums/tabid/56/forumid/9/postid/43966/view/topic/Default.aspx

Is it possible that this was virus related? If not hit your menu button on the monitor and find the setting that displays rotation and try to rotate it back.

Hope that helps. And if it doesn't than flip your monitor. ;)

I have seen this problem before.

Right click on your desktop ---> click properties ---> Click the Setting tab ---> Change your resolution to something lower than what it is right now, after clicking ok, you should see your screen normal, then change your resolution to what it was before.

Nope... none of it works.. It could be a virus; installed a game from Download.com or one of those sites, and ran it; after that I've been turning to the side...

    Thanks

Ohh wvccboy, that sounds very virusy. I would first suggest flip your monitor. Then go and download AVG - it's a free virus software that can scan your comp.

If you have other scanning software make sure these are all up to date and scan everything.

If you have nvidia, right click your desktop, do nvidia display, click the name of your monitor. Go to nvrotate and turn your screen back... i just turned mine round for kicks. It's fun, but impossible to use the mouse.

CTRL, ALT and UP arrow keys will usually revert back to normal display when this happens.

Works for some cases; for this one, it was a display setting that apparently flipped it!
