search and replace a text in 3000 posts

    Hi,
    I have a wordpress blog, i used to have a hide text plugin which is not supported by the latest version of wp. So i had to change the hide text plugin now this means changing the text in about 1-2 thousand posts.
    I tried the search and replace plugin but it didnt work is there any other plugin or way you can recommend me please help

    I see maybe you can get someone to help you in exchange of something you can do for him/her a free banner ad, you post reviews for him/her or like their Facebook pages and so and so.

    Also I wanted to ask you. Where is this text located at. Are they in a database, text files or what exactly.

    Please let me know. This may sound crazy to you, but i use excel to do almost everything. Maybe there is something you can do to make it easier.

    one can use SQL query to replace the text. it is recommended to have a backup before working with SQL.
