    I am getting these LinkedIn Security Mail saying to reset my password for the account.

    Have you guys received it. All the colleagues at my office received this kind of mail within last couple of days. Is it real or fake?

    The email is most likely legitimate as over 100 million LinkedIn account credentials were recently leaked.
    I recommend manually visiting LinkedIn's website and changing your password.

    use the snipping tool to show us the url they want you to click - phishing emails usually look legit but when you go to click the link you'll see it's not quite right.

    Here's an email from linkedin letting me know about a PM - only gmail sent it straight to spam. I moved it back to my inbox for examination.

    The first odd thing is that nothing is clickable - a bit of a problem if they think they're phishing, unless gmail has just stripped out the bad stuff for me

    Then it's fascinating that the encryption is from a Russian site...
    and the senders name doesn't match the email

    Yes you are right @Host Capitol
    @sarahk
    I think its from the original source, since there is no clickable link and the sender seems genuine here. The only matter is why would they send such emails which really look suspicious.

    Looks like, but atleast you are only being contacted as a user - and not because they have a problem with you :)
