Seeking Telephone Service

Discussion in 'General Business' started by atforums.digitalpoint, Mar 8, 2011.

I have an online business selling an information product, and I want to provide my customers with a telephone number. I travel most of the year and do not currently have a home address where I can have a phone set up.

I am looking for a solution that will allow my customers to call and leave a message, which I can pick up and return their call.

I looked online and there are endless options available. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with this, or if maybe there is a solution out there that is popular.

What I can recommend you is to get a telemarketing service. Telemarketing services frees you from having to worry about business infrastructure in order to get your operations off the ground. When you outsource, human resources, business processes and all equipment necessary for telecommunication and data processing are already in place and ready to go. So why not trust your online business to a trusted telemarketing company?

http://www.google.com/voice/ <-- There's your answer. You can either forward it to any other number you want or have it go straight to voicemail. It will even email and/or text message you whenever you get a voicemail.

I agree with Phoey. Google voice is a good diy solution. If you're interested in a "hands off" soluton, try outsoucing the task to a Virtual Assistant on Odesk or Fiverr for the cheap.

The best and Much more cheaper is to use Skype! Ive been using it for inbound and outbound calls.. and if you need some help from a Virtual Assistant you can hire me. Thank you!
