Selling Erotic E Novels

I hope this is the right section for this. If not .. I'm really sorry!

Anyways I've started writing a few erotic novellas. My plan is the sale them online in my own store. I already have two stores that are run on Zibbet but since the books are a totally different product and are for adults I'll be making a unique site for it.

Ok so my questions are

How much is too much for a novella (20k words) ? I was thinking about $3 at most for all my stories. A super novel (120k words) on an other site sells for like $15. However right now I don't think I'll be writing a story that huge.. ( Imagine all the sex sences I would have to write! lol) Do you think that $3 is a far price?

My other question is do you have any recommendations on where to market these books. I was thinking soft porn sites and blogs. I don't want anything super hardcore. I have a short story that is 1k words that I plan to use a sample but I'm not sure how to use that sample.. maybe offer it to adult blogs.. almost like if it was an article?

I could really use some advice.. please.

 

Amazon have a print on demand service that means you can list your products on amazon, and when you get sales they print it and ship it. You are a writer in the romance genre, there's nothing unusual or shady about that, you should use the mainstream publishing methods. Maybe start a blog where you share snippets or short stories and build a following. good luck!

Yeah but I don't think you can list novels like that on Amazon. I've tried and have been denied. Search adult blogging sites and adult forums. I don't want to be too vivid and list sites on the forum but message me if you can't find any.
